Why We Exist…
Small Time Group was founded in Melbourne, Australia in 2019. Our mission is to help hard working talented artists sustain a career in music. Our spaces are a special part of delivering on that mission and include a main production studio, up to five writing rooms and multiple spaces for artist education, artist and industry events.
Small Time Studios is a joint venture between Steve Hibberd, Johnny Took and their families.
WRITING rooms
Small Time is here to provide vibey writing rooms and recording spaces for you to bring your music and ideas to life. We have three rooms currently available to book, each with their own individual charm, to inspire and accomodate individual and collaborative projects alike. Each room can be booked for either a day or evening session.
Support
In a music industry that’s ever-changing a ‘career’ can mean so many things, Small Time provides a space for artists to meet, learn and adapt. We are home to regular industry, educational and networking events to provide clarity around topics such as self management, music releases, career planning and more.
We work actively and holistically with artists to help them gain confidence, develop skills, make industry connections, and develop and achieve their goals.
